ICTACT Student Innovator Award 2014Scope of the Award
ICTACT Student Innovator Award 2014 is a launch pad for the innovators to showcase their talent and creative ideas to compete at the global level. Students in any year of graduation shall nominate for the award in the following categories.- IT & Computer Science
- Mechanical & Automobile
- Electrical & Electronics
- Civil & Architecture
- Management & Arts (Extended till 30 May 2014)
Eligibility
- Students of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Arts & Science/ MBA students only shall apply
- Projects from Engineering / Science / Management disciplines can be nominated.
- Only 2 Project works per department will be considered.
- Individual project or group projects (Max of 4 members) will be accepted.
- Only current batch (2014) nominations will be considered.
Evaluation Criteria
- Methodology (20%) - Innovative processing in developing the solution for the problem identified.
- Commercial Viability (30%) - Realistic & practical (including security), fulfills a need/recognize market gap, creates a new market
- 'WOW' Factor (20%) - Out of the box & unique idea
- Research (15%) - Understanding & depth of the idea, process, strategy
- Clarity & Presentation of Proposal (15%) - How clearly the idea is proposed and Communicated in the presentation
